Job Title: Outside / Territory Sales Representative
Location: Designated Territory
Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our team, specializing in on-premises laundry services for commercial and institutional clients. This role involves identifying potential customers, building strong relationships, and delivering tailored solutions to meet their laundry operation needs, in a designated territory. The ideal candidate will have a strong B2B sales background, a deep understanding of the challenges facing on-premises
laundry operations, and a passion for providing exceptional customer service.
Designated Territory**:
• Hamilton / Wentworth region
• Peel Region
• Halton Region
• Etobicoke Region.
** On occasion and when requested, travel and business activities will be required outside of the
designated territory. Expenses will be reimbursed when required to conduct business exceeding
100 km.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prospecting and Lead Generation
Identify and qualify potential clients within the assigned territory or industry vertical.
Utilize various methods such as networking, cold-calling, and attending industry events to generate leads.
• Sales Target Achievement
Meet or exceed assigned sales quotas and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve goals.
• Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular communication and personalized engagement.
Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
• Needs Assessment
Conduct initial consultations to understand client requirements and challenges.
Arrange for site assessments to gather detailed information for custom solutions.
• Proposal Development and Presentation
Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored proposals and service quotes.
Deliver professional presentations to key decision-makers in client organizations.
• Negotiation and Closing
Negotiate terms and conditions with clients, balancing their needs with company goals.
Close deals effectively, ensuring all paperwork and approvals are completed promptly.
• Market Intelligence and Reporting
Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
Provide regular feedback and reports to the management team on client activity and market conditions.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
Coordinate with operations, customer service, and other teams to ensure seamless delivery of services.
Act as a liaison between the client and internal teams for any ongoing service adjustments or issues.
• Compliance and Documentation
Ensure adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
Maintain accurate and organized records of client interactions, contracts, and proposals, and support data management in the CRM as requested.
• Client Retention and Upselling
Focus on retaining existing clients through exceptional service and relationship management.
Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional services.
Qualifications:
• Proven B2B experience in outside sales, preferably in the commercial laundry or service industry.
• A basic understanding of on-premises laundry operations and their unique challenges.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle and willingness to travel throughout the region as needed.
• Minimum 2-3 years of sales experience, with experience in B2B Sales.
• Strong understanding of the designated territory and the network of potential clients in these areas.
